Through global hotkeys or the menu bar icon, it can instantly summon a floating input window, which can display over any full-screen application. It uses swipe gestures for navigation, allowing you to clear notes by sliding left, access history by sliding right, and switch between notes by sliding up and down, all without needing a mouse.
It features a minimalist text editing interface with no redundant toolbars or formatting buttons. When pasting content, it automatically removes formatting and indentation, preserving the pure text content, allowing your focus to remain solely on the information itself.
Notes are automatically saved locally, supporting soft delete mechanisms, allowing deleted content to be recovered from the recycle bin. It also allows for configuring automatic cleanup rules, which can delete expired temporary notes at scheduled intervals. It includes nine permanent note slots, supporting the fixed storage of frequently used content, and allows for side-by-side display with temporary notes.
It supports the creation of to-do lists through keywords, with each item being selectable and marked as completed, making it easy to manage temporary tasks and to-do items.
It automatically identifies and shortens long links, keeping the interface clean; hovering over a link with the mouse will expand it for editing, and it supports the use of hotkeys to open links, balancing visual tidiness with operational convenience.
It includes basic editing features such as search and replace within notes, undo/redo, and printing, covering all scenarios for temporary editing.
Directly inputting mathematical expressions in a note and appending a `=` at the end will automatically output the calculation result, without needing to switch to an independent calculator application.
It supports scenario-specific calculations with descriptive tags, allowing the definition of variables and the use of formulas to link them (e.g., `单价: 99`, `数量: 3`, `总价 = 单价 * 数量`). Variable changes will automatically update the result without needing manual recalculations, making it suitable for quickly building simple calculation models.
It includes capabilities for converting units across multiple dimensions such as distance, weight, temperature, and currency (including cryptocurrencies). Inputting natural language descriptions allows for quick conversion results, meeting various conversion needs in daily work and life.
It supports the use of a single command to calculate the sum, average, and count of numbers within a note, and it can automatically tally the number of entries, lines, characters, and reading difficulty, enabling quick data aggregation.
Dragging screenshots or images directly into a note will automatically recognize and extract text from the images, processing everything locally to ensure data security.
Enabling the AutoPaste feature will automatically paste content from the system clipboard into the current note, saving time by eliminating the need to switch windows and manually paste.
It includes three timer modes: a stopwatch, countdown, and Pomodoro timer, which can be quickly initiated within a note to meet various timing needs such as work, focused learning, and task countdowns.
It supports global searches for all note contents, allowing for quick location of target information, even when dealing with a large number of temporary notes.
It includes a JavaScript extension engine, allowing users to input `::` to call commands within a note. It comes with over 100 official commands, and it supports custom writing of extensions, enabling the creation of personalized features, thus expanding the tool’s capabilities.
It allows for multi-device synchronization of note content and preferences without the need for additional accounts, using personal iCloud accounts for end-to-end encryption, ensuring data security and privacy.
It includes 14 selected themes, and it provides a theme editor for customizing color schemes, allowing for adjustments in font size to suit different visual preferences and desktop styles.
It supports automatic switching between dark and light modes, and it allows for setting the window to be always on top, adapting to various usage scenarios.
It supports the use of a single command to export note content to mainstream note-taking applications such as Apple Notes, Obsidian, and Bear, allowing temporary information to be quickly converted into permanent data.
It supports exporting notes to TXT text format, making it convenient for subsequent editing and cross-platform transmission.
