Description

ForkLift is a powerful Mac file management tool featuring dual-pane views, support for multiple remote connection protocols, batch file operations and synchronization, and efficient management of both local and remote files.

Notes: To open the software and experience it, you need to disable SIP.

Remote Connections
Connect to SFTP, FTP, WebDAV, Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, Google Drive, Rackspace CloudFiles, SMB, AFP, and NFS remote volumes to manage files across networks quickly and easily. You can connect to multiple servers at once, even through drag-and-drop operations.

ForkLift Mini
Stays in the menu bar to allow you to mount saved remote connections as a disk, upload files from Finder to remote servers, or run saved Synclets even when ForkLift is not running.

Preview
The preview panel displays useful information about the selected file. It allows you to play audio and video files, check images, PDFs, and other common document types. You can also quickly edit text files on both local drives and remote servers.

Quick Open
Easily access favorites, devices, menu commands, open selected files with the required applications, or apply previously saved multiple naming presets to selected files or folders.

More Features:

Dual Pane
The most effective way to manage files. Split the panes horizontally or vertically, or use a single pane.

Favorite Sync
Keep all favorites, syncers, and renaming presets synchronized across multiple computers using Dropbox.

Dropbox Support
Copy Dropbox links to files in Dropbox directories by right-clicking.

Transfer
Reorder transfers, set conflict resolution rules, error handling, bandwidth limits for downloads and uploads.

Tags
Organize documents and files with tags: add, edit, delete, search, or filter them in ForkLift.

Disklet
Mount remote servers as simple local drives on the desktop.

Sync Browse
View two identical file structures in one pane, and let ForkLift handle the work in the other pane.

Tags
You can open different folders in the same pane instead of opening separate windows.

Search
Search and filter files by name, extension, type, tags, or content, even on remote servers.

Quick Select
Select files by typing file names, extensions, or tags, and then add or exclude them.

App Deleter
ForkLift includes an application deletion tool to remove the last remnants of applications to be uninstalled.

Remote Editing
Set a preferred editor in ForkLift to edit remote files, and your changes will be uploaded when you save.

Archiving
Browse local and remote archives as if they were ordinary folders. You can even quickly view, search, and filter them.

Keyboard Control
Control each operation directly from the keyboard, including selecting files with the Spacebar.

Workspaces
Save different layouts in open tabs and positions, and load the content you need.

FXP Copy
FXP Copy allows direct data transfer between servers that support FXP, without going through Mac.

Tools
Extend ForkLift’s functionality by calling command-line tools and applying shortcuts to them.

Git Support
ForkLift knows Git and displays the status of individual files. You can add, commit, push, and pull.

In Terminal
Absolutely essential for power users. Open a terminal, iTerm, Hyper, or Kitty window at the current local path.

Hidden Files
Use shortcuts or the button in the toolbar to easily view hidden files and folders.

Share
Share provides a convenient way to share various documents and other files in real-time.

Default File Viewer
Set ForkLift as the default file viewer, and almost every application will point to ForkLift instead of Finder.

File Comparison
Compare two text or image files using Xcode’s FileMerge, KaleidoScope, Beyond Compare, or Araxis Merge.
