Description

Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days is a side-scrolling survival game set in a post-apocalyptic scenario where players lead a group of desperate zombie apocalypse survivors to a safe haven. Players can craft weapons, scavenge resources, and balance the group’s needs to ensure everyone survives the perilous situation.

In 1980, Walton, a once-expanding coastal city, was facing a relentless heatwave and severe economic crisis. However, when a relentless zombie outbreak hit the coast, the city’s fate was irrevocably altered. The city was overrun by zombies, leaving only a few survivors and severing all ties with the outside world. In this dire situation, these ordinary people are forced to unite and rely on each other to find a way to survive in this dangerous city, seeking the last hope.

**Plan:**

– Assemble a resilient survivor team from the shocked populace of Walton, which was hit by the sudden zombie outbreak and city destruction.
– Establish a progressively upgradeable shelter to house and protect the survivors, repelling zombie threats—though nothing can permanently keep them out.
– Continuously move between shelters, always staying ahead of the advancing zombie horde. Each night, the shelters will be attacked by zombies, and if the defenses are breached, the survivors will face heavy losses.
– Balance the physiological needs of the survivors, such as hunger and fatigue, as well as psychological needs like despair, and manage injuries like broken ribs and psychological trauma caused by nightmares, ensuring the team’s continued survival and stability.

**Adaptation:**

– In the face of danger, the survivors must quietly navigate the ruins of Walton, searching for valuable resources amidst the zombie and survivor threats.
– In combat, you can choose to flee or use weapons found or crafted to engage in brutal combat. Not everyone is born a warrior, but desperation often drives people to fight for survival.
– You can try to persuade others to join the team or take their resources to increase your chances of survival.

**Survival:**

– Test your humanity in difficult decisions, deciding who lives and who dies, and who is left behind.
– Experience Walton, a once-vibrant city now transformed into a terrifying wasteland of zombies.
– Craft tools, weapons, and upgrade the shelters to better equip your survivors for future challenges or provide comfort in this dangerous new world.
– Experience a constantly evolving world, with each game offering a unique experience.
