The following procedures are based on the original installation package instructions:

1. Step One: Obtain the File
   After completion of the download, you will receive a .dmg disk image file.
2. Step Two: Review the Instructions
   Open the .dmg file and first read the document titled “Cracking Guide”, which contains key installation and activation instructions.
3. Step Three: Locate the Application Package
   This is a critical step in the activation process, requiring access to the internal directory of the application.
   • Open the Mac’s “Applications” folder.
   • Find the installed “Adobe Photoshop CS6” program.
   • Right-click on its icon and select “Show Package Contents”.
   • Enter the Contents > Frameworks directory in the pop-up folder.

   Note: If you cannot find the “Show Package Contents” option, ensure that you right-click on the Photoshop program main file within the “Photoshop program” folder, not on its shortcut or folder.

4. Step Four: Apply the Activation File
   Follow the instructions in the “Cracking Guide” document to copy the provided activation file to the Frameworks directory found in the previous step, replacing the existing files.
5. Step Five: Handle Security Warnings (if encountered)
   If the system prompts “The file is damaged and cannot be opened. You should move it to the Trash?”, this is usually due to the macOS Gatekeeper security mechanism. You need to temporarily allow applications from “Any Source” in the “System Preferences > Security & Privacy” or use terminal commands to bypass this check.
