Main Bug Fixes:

Before installation, ensure your Mac is running macOS 10.12 or later. At least 4GB of RAM and 500MB of free hard disk space are recommended. Close all database-related applications to avoid conflicts.
Step 1: Download Navicat Premium for Mac v15.0.29 Chinese activated version from the link provided on this page. The file format is .dmg, approximately 200MB in size.
Step 2: Double-click the .dmg file to open the installation window. Drag the Navicat Premium icon to the Applications folder. Wait for the progress bar to complete, which takes about 30 seconds.
Step 3: On first launch, the system may prompt “Cannot verify developer”. Go to System Preferences > Security & Privacy > General, and click “Open Anyway”. Enter your password to confirm.
After launching, the software automatically enters the activation interface. Choose “Trial” or “Activate”. If activation is required, enter the provided serial number. Note: The current version has a password saving issue; it is recommended to manually record connection information.
Click the “Connection” button and select the database type (e.g., MySQL). Enter the hostname, port, username, and password. After a successful test connection, click “OK” to save. If the connection fails, check firewall settings.
Check macOS security settings. If it says “damaged”, re-download and ensure the file is complete. You can also try right-clicking the app and selecting “Open”.
This issue exists in the current v15.0.29 version. It is recommended to use Keychain or a third-party password manager to record passwords. We will notify you as soon as a future version fixes this.
Verify that the username and password are correct. Check MySQL user permissions to ensure connections from the current IP are allowed. In Terminal, execute GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO 'username'@'%';.
Check the character set settings of the source and target databases. It is recommended to use UTF-8 encoding uniformly. In Navicat, right-click the connection, select “Connection Properties”, and set the character set to utf8mb4.
Close unnecessary connections and query windows. Increase Mac memory. In Navicat settings, lower the “Logging” level. Regularly clear cache.
Right-click the target database and select “Dump SQL File”. Or use the “Scheduled Tasks” feature to set up automatic backups. It is recommended to back up weekly.
Supports MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQLite. Covers almost all mainstream databases.
Download the latest installation package and install over the existing version. Note: Back up all connection configurations before updating. Activation information is usually retained automatically.
The license is typically limited to a single device. For multi-device use, please purchase a commercial license. For team collaboration, you can use Navicat Cloud to synchronize configurations.
