Before installation, please confirm that your Mac meets the following requirements: operating system macOS 10.14 Mojave or later, including Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura and Sonoma. Memory of 4GB or more is recommended, and at least 500MB of hard disk space.
Click the download link on this page to obtain the TablePlus v3.11.0 activated version compressed package. After downloading, double-click the .zip file to unzip it. If the system prompts “Cannot verify the developer”, go to “System Preferences – Security & Privacy – General” and click “Open Anyway”.
Drag the unzipped TablePlus.app file to the “Applications” folder. This process does not require an administrator password, but it is recommended to keep the network connected to complete the first verification. After dragging is complete, you can find the TablePlus icon in Launchpad.
Double-click to launch TablePlus. An activation window will pop up on first open. Enter the activation code included in the compressed package (usually in License Key format) and click “Activate” to complete activation. After activation, the software will display “Licensed to”, indicating successful activation.
Click the “+” sign in the upper left corner of the main interface and select the database type you want to connect to (such as MySQL, PostgreSQL). Fill in the host address, port number, username and password. It is recommended to check the “Use SSL” option to enable encrypted connections. Click “Test” to test the connection, and after success click “Save” to save.
After a successful connection, the database list will be displayed in the left navigation bar. Double-click any database to see objects such as tables, views and stored procedures. Try executing a simple query: enter “SELECT 1” in the query editor and press Command+Return to execute. If the result “1” is returned, the installation and configuration are completely correct.
TablePlus supports more than 10 mainstream databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, Amazon Redshift, MariaDB and CockroachDB. It also supports NoSQL databases such as Redis and Memcached.
The free version limits you to opening 2 tabs at the same time and cannot use advanced functions such as SSH tunneling and data export to CSV/JSON. The activated version has no tab limit, unlocks all advanced functions, and enjoys official updates.
This is due to interception by the macOS Gatekeeper security mechanism. Please open Terminal and enter the command: sudo spctl –master-disable, then reopen TablePlus. After use, it is recommended to re-enable Gatekeeper: sudo spctl –master-enable.
TablePlus connection configurations are stored in the ~/Library/Application Support/com.tinyapp.TablePlus/ directory. You can regularly copy this folder for backup, or use the built-in “Export Connections” function to export it as a .json file.
Possible reasons include high network latency, firewall restrictions or high database server load. It is recommended to first use the Ping command to test network connectivity, or check “Use Compression” in connection settings to enable compressed data transmission.
Currently, TablePlus officially does not provide a Chinese language pack, but the English interface vocabulary is relatively simple and does not affect daily use. Some community enthusiasts have created third-party Chinese localization plugins, which can be installed through the plugin marketplace.
Users of the activated version can directly click “Check for Updates” in the software to upgrade. If using the activated version provided by this site, it is recommended to follow this site’s update notifications. After downloading the latest version, overwrite the installation, and connection configurations will not be lost.
Yes. TablePlus supports multi-tab operations, and each tab can independently connect to a different database. You can also use the Workspace function to group and manage related connections, greatly improving multi-database collaborative work efficiency.
