This page provides TG Pro for Mac v2.96 – Control Fan Speed, Monitor Temperature, Activated Version Download | Love Mac, tested and working. If you encounter a dead link or cannot install after downloading, please leave a comment to contact us.
TG Pro is an all-in-one system management solution designed to maximize Mac performance and stability through comprehensive fan control and extensive temperature monitoring. It natively supports all mainstream Mac models, including Intel and Apple Silicon (M1, M2, M3, and M4 series), providing users with precise hardware status insights and flexible thermal management.
In daily Mac usage, thermal issues are often overlooked. Whether you’re doing intensive video editing or running large games, the internal temperature of your Mac can rise sharply. TG Pro was created to solve this pain point—it’s not just a monitoring tool but a proactive manager of your hardware’s health. By precisely controlling fan speeds, you can effectively lower the temperature of core components, extend battery life, and avoid performance throttling caused by overheating.
Many users may not know that Mac’s built-in cooling strategy prioritizes silence, which often leads to higher temperatures. TG Pro lets you redefine the standard of “cool.” Next, we’ll start from installation and guide you step by step through the software’s powerful features.
TG Pro gives users full control over the Mac’s cooling system, offering both automatic and manual adjustment modes to suit different usage scenarios and preferences.
It’s worth noting that Auto Boost mode is very intelligent. You can set different trigger conditions for different application scenarios. For example, when CPU temperature exceeds 80°C, fan speed automatically increases to 60%; when GPU temperature exceeds 90°C, fans run at full speed. This fine-grained control logic is something the native macOS system does not offer.
TG Pro takes Mac thermal performance monitoring to a new level, providing real-time, detailed component temperature data to ensure the system runs at its best.
This feature is especially important for professional users. For example, video editors can check historical maximum temperatures to determine if the cooling module has dust accumulation issues. If a particular core’s temperature is consistently 10°C or more higher than other cores, it may be time to clean the dust or reapply thermal paste.
TG Pro is designed for every Mac, with extremely broad compatibility:
According to Apple’s official developer documentation, Apple Silicon chips integrate more than 20 temperature sensors. TG Pro can read the vast majority of this data, which many free tools cannot do. For Hackintosh users, TG Pro’s compatibility support solves the thermal management challenge.

Installing TG Pro is not complicated, but to ensure successful activation, please follow the steps below strictly. We tested multiple installation environments, including macOS Ventura and Sonoma, and activation was successful in all cases.
Click the download link on this page to get the TG Pro disk image file (.dmg). After downloading, double-click the .dmg file, and the system will automatically mount and open a window containing the installation package.
Drag the “TG Pro.app” icon onto the “Applications” folder shortcut on the right. This is the most standard Mac software installation method, similar to the “Next” installation wizard on Windows.
Wait for the copy to complete. During this process, the system may prompt you to enter an administrator password, which is a normal security verification mechanism.
Open “Launchpad” or the “Applications” folder, find and double-click the “TG Pro” icon. On first launch, the system will display a security prompt informing you that the app is from an “unidentified developer.”
At this point, go to “System Settings” -> “Privacy & Security,” and in the “Security” section at the bottom of the page, click the “Open Anyway” button. This only needs to be done once; subsequent launches will not show this prompt.
Additionally, TG Pro needs “Accessibility” permission to control fan speeds. When the software prompts you, click “Open System Settings,” find “TG Pro” in the list, and check it. If you skip this step, fan control will not work properly.
After launching TG Pro, click “TG Pro” in the menu bar -> “License” -> “Enter License.” In the window that appears, enter the activation code we provide.
After entering the code, click the “Activate” button. If the activation code is valid, you will see an “Activation successful” message. At this point, all features of the software will be unlocked, including custom fan curves and advanced monitoring options.
If you encounter an “Invalid License” or “Activation failed” error during activation, please check your network connection or contact our customer service for assistance.
After successful activation, restart TG Pro. On the main interface, you should see real-time temperature data for all sensors and the current fan speed. Try adjusting the fan speed under the “Fans” tab to ensure the control function is working.
We recommend enabling “Auto Boost” mode to let the software automatically manage thermal control. Then run a high-load application (such as Final Cut Pro or a game) and observe whether temperature changes are stable. If everything is normal, congratulations—installation successful!
To help you better use TG Pro, we have compiled the 10 most common questions users encounter along with their answers. If you encounter other issues during use, feel free to leave a comment below.
A: Yes. TG Pro v2.96 has been fully tested and is fully compatible with macOS 10.13 and later, including the latest macOS Sequoia. If you are using a beta system, we recommend backing up your data before installing.
A: On newer Macs (especially Apple Silicon models), manually controlling fan speed requires first enabling “Manual Mode” in TG Pro’s settings. Go to the “Fans” tab and click the “Enable Manual Control” button. If the button is grayed out and unavailable, check whether “Accessibility” permission has been granted.
A: No. TG Pro is very lightweight when running in the background, typically using less than 1% CPU. The fan control feature itself does not consume extra power; instead, by optimizing cooling, it can reduce battery wear caused by high temperatures and extend battery life.
A: Activation codes are typically bound to a single device. If you need to use it on multiple Macs, we recommend purchasing multiple licenses. However, if you are just reinstalling the system or replacing a hard drive, you can reactivate using the same code.
A: This is usually caused by abnormal sensor readings. Version 2.96 has fixed the crash issue caused by hardware reporting 0°C temperatures. If the problem persists, try restarting your Mac or resetting the SMC (for Intel models).
A: TG Pro is more comprehensive. In addition to fan control, it provides detailed temperature monitoring, historical data logging, Auto Boost smart rules, and Hackintosh support. Macs Fan Control focuses more on basic manual fan control and has relatively limited features.
A: Drag “TG Pro.app” from the “Applications” folder to the Trash. If you want to completely remove all configuration files, you can also delete the file “~/Library/Preferences/com.tunabellysoftware.TGPro.plist”.
A: Please check whether “Maximum Cooling Mode” is enabled. In manual mode, fan speed is limited by hardware firmware restrictions. Some Mac models will forcibly intervene in fan strategy at certain temperatures to protect hardware safety.
