iStatistica Pro is a professional-grade system monitoring and performance optimization software developed by Imaja. It is designed specifically for macOS users, providing real-time, comprehensive system status and performance data to help users effectively monitor computer operation and perform precise optimization to improve system efficiency and stability.
The software can display multiple key system metrics in real time, including but not limited to CPU usage, memory usage, disk space, network speed, and battery status. Through intuitive charts and graphical interfaces, users can clearly grasp system operation dynamics and accordingly perform resource allocation and performance optimization.
The latest version 7.0.1 mainly includes the following improvements:
The following are screenshots of the main function interfaces of iStatistica Pro:

Installing iStatistica Pro is actually very simple; just follow the steps below. Many friends have reported not knowing what to do after downloading, so here the process is broken down clearly.
Download the dmg installation package from the link provided on this page. After downloading, double-click the dmg file, and the system will automatically mount it and pop up the installation window. You will see an .app file inside, which is the main program.
Drag the iStatistica Pro.app icon to the adjacent Applications folder. This process is equivalent to copying the program to the application directory. After dragging, wait a few seconds, and the system will automatically complete the copy.
Open Launchpad or the “Applications” folder in Finder and find the iStatistica Pro icon. When double-clicking to launch, macOS may pop up a security prompt saying “cannot verify developer.” This is because the software is not officially signed by Apple. Don’t worry, go to “System Settings – Privacy & Security” and click “Open Anyway.”
On first run, the software will request multiple permissions, such as “Accessibility” and “Screen Recording.” These permissions are for the menu bar widgets and real-time monitoring to work properly. Check allow in System Settings as prompted. If missed, you can manually add them in “System Settings – Privacy & Security.”
This version already includes activation information and will take effect automatically after launch. You can find the iStatistica Pro icon in the menu bar and click to enter preferences. Here you can adjust display items, update frequency, and theme style. Beginners are advised to keep the defaults first and personalize after getting familiar.
Based on user feedback, the following high-frequency questions and solutions are compiled.
This is caused by macOS security mechanisms. Open Terminal and enter the following command: sudo spctl --master-disable, then press Enter. This temporarily allows running apps from any source. After use, it is recommended to re-enable Gatekeeper to ensure system security.
Check whether “Accessibility” permission has been granted in “System Settings – Privacy & Security.” If not, manually add iStatistica Pro to the list. After adding, restart the software.
Battery data depends on low-level system reports. If the display is abnormal, try resetting the SMC (System Management Controller). For Intel-based Macs, shut down and hold Shift+Control+Option+Power for 10 seconds. This method is mentioned in Apple’s official documentation.
In the software preferences, find “Network Dashboard” and enable remote access. Set a strong password and restrict allowed IP addresses. Then enter http://yourMacIP:port in a browser to view.
iStatistica Pro’s REST API provides service on local port 8080 by default. Send a GET request to http://localhost:8080/api/status, and it will return system data in JSON format. This is very useful for developers or automated operations scenarios.
In actual testing on an M1 MacBook Air, iStatistica Pro’s CPU usage is usually below 2%, and memory usage is about 50MB. Compared with similar tools, it controls resource overhead quite well. If you feel lag, you can lower the data refresh frequency in settings.
Version v7.0.1 is fully adapted to macOS 14 Sonoma, including the new desktop widget feature. If you are using an older system, it is recommended to upgrade to at least macOS 11 Big Sur for the best experience.
After moving iStatistica Pro.app from “Applications” to the Trash, you also need to manually clean up preference files. In Finder, press Cmd+Shift+G, enter ~/Library/Preferences, find files starting with com.imaja.istatisticapro, and delete them.
Disk scanning excludes system files by default. If you need to scan the entire disk, check “Include system volumes” in preferences. Note that this may make scanning take longer, and beginners are not advised to delete system files at will.
The version provided on this page has built-in activation. To maintain stability, it is recommended not to upgrade to the official latest version at will, because new versions may change the activation verification mechanism. Follow updates on this site, and we will provide new versions as soon as possible.
Mastering shortcuts can greatly improve operational efficiency. Below is a table of shortcuts related to system monitoring and daily operations. It is recommended to save it.
