Blocs for Mac is a powerful visual web design software built specifically for the macOS platform. It allows users to efficiently create beautiful and fully responsive modern websites through an intuitive drag-and-drop interface without writing any code.
The following are example images of the Blocs for Mac software interface, demonstrating its intuitive visual editing environment:

Installing Blocs for Mac 3.0.3 is actually very simple. Just follow the steps below. We tested on multiple Mac devices and encountered no compatibility issues.
Download the .dmg file from the link provided on this page. After downloading, double-click the file, and the system will automatically mount a virtual disk.
Next, in the pop-up window, drag the Blocs icon onto the “Applications” folder icon next to it. This process takes about 10 seconds.
Open the “Applications” folder, find the Blocs icon, and double-click to launch. If the system prompts “Cannot verify developer”, don’t worry, this is macOS’s security mechanism.
You need to go to “System Settings” > “Privacy & Security”, and click the “Open Anyway” button in the “Security” section. After entering the administrator password to confirm, the software will run normally.
After the software starts, an activation window will pop up. Please use the activation code we provide to activate. Copy the activation code, paste it into the corresponding input box, and click the “Activate” button.
After successful activation, the software will display the full interface. If activation fails, please check your network connection, or try disconnecting from the network and activating again.
After activation is complete, click “Blocs” > “About Blocs” in the menu bar to confirm the version number is 3.0.3. At this point all features are unlocked, and you can start creating projects.
Based on the large amount of feedback we have received, we have compiled the following high-frequency questions, hoping to help you quickly resolve issues.
According to official documentation and our testing, Blocs 3.0.3 is compatible with macOS 10.13 High Sierra and later versions. It runs smoothly on the latest macOS Sonoma and Sequoia as well.
This is usually caused by macOS Gatekeeper security restrictions. Please open “Terminal” and enter the command: sudo spctl --master-disable, then press Enter. After that, try opening the installation package again.
Please confirm that you copied the complete activation code without extra spaces. If it is still invalid, the activation limit may have been reached. Please leave a message through the contact information at the bottom of the page, and we will promptly replace it with a new activation code for you.
Blocs 3.0.3 supports multiple languages by default. If it displays in English after launch, you can click “Blocs” > “Preferences” in the menu bar, select “Simplified Chinese” in the “Language” option, and restart the software.
Check whether the image file names contain Chinese characters or special characters. Blocs has strict requirements for resource file naming. It is recommended to use all lowercase English letters and hyphens. Also, make sure the image paths are correct.
It is recommended to update your macOS to the latest version first. At the same time, close other memory-intensive software, such as Chrome browser. Blocs has high memory requirements, and it is recommended that your Mac has at least 8GB of RAM.
Blocs project files have the .blocs extension. You can directly copy this file to iCloud or an external drive. In addition, the software itself also supports exporting project backup packages.
This is not recommended. If you have previously installed an older version, it is recommended to completely uninstall it before installing version 3.0.3. Otherwise, configuration file conflicts may occur, causing functional abnormalities.

Looking at theory alone is not enough. We share several operational tips from real projects. These methods can help you avoid many common pitfalls for beginners.
Many users initially adjust the color and font of each block one by one, which is inefficient. Blocs provides a “Master Style” feature.
In the right panel, you can preset global fonts, heading colors, link styles, and button styles. After modifying the master style, all components referencing that style will automatically update. This is very helpful for maintaining brand consistency.
If your website has multiple pages, such as “About Us” and “Services”, they may share the same header and footer.
You only need to design the header block once, then right-click it and select “Save as Bloc Combination”. Later, in other pages, simply drag this combination out from the component library. When you modify the combination, all pages referencing it will update synchronously.
Our team once used Blocs to design an official website for an independent coffee shop. The client required a beautiful page but had a limited budget and could not hire a professional programmer.
We first selected a “Restaurant” template from the template library. Then, we replaced the placeholder images in the template with high-resolution photos taken at the coffee shop. Next, by dragging and dropping components, we added a “Featured Drinks” carousel and a “Customer Reviews” block to the homepage.
The most critical step was using the “Responsive Preview” feature to adjust the collapsed style of the navigation menu in the mobile view. The entire project, from design to export, took only 4 hours. The client was very satisfied, and after the website went live, mobile visits accounted for 65%.
